The Five Ws

In my second post I will talk about the movie “My Sister’s Keeper”.I will state the Five Ws for this awesome movie.

1.     Who is it about?

The main characters of “My Sister’s Keeper” are

·        The mother “Sara Fitzgerald” who is played by “Cameron Diaz”.

·        The young daughter “Andromeda 'Anna' Fitzgerald” who is played by “Abigail Breslin”.

·        The old daughter “Kate Fitzgerald” who is played by “Sofia Vassilieva”.

2.     What happened (what's the story)?

Anna tries to get medical emancipation from her parents who depends on her to keep her leukemia-stricken sister Kate alive.

3.     Where did it take place?

Long Island.

4.     When did it take place?

The movie is a 2009 release based on a 2004 novel and it take place modern days.

5.     Why did it happen?

At the beginning of the movie they show us that Anna is trying to earn the medical emancipation from her parents because she feels that it’s a kind of child abuse and that she doesn’t mean anything for her parents other than a life guard for her sister. Towards the end we discover that the whole process was Kate’s wish.

6.     How did it happen?

She hires a very famous lawyer to represent her in the court.
